Join us and never again wonder what to do in a crisis. On this day you will find out how to avoid getting lost even without a map. We will examine different methods of finding water in a survival situation, harvest the best wild edible plants and make rope from natural materials.

A practical and informative day of survival skills and tips. Build an emergency shelter that will keep you warm, and test if you will stay dry! Find out where to collect tinder, practise lighting a fire and make your own survival spoon.

Join Blue Skiles to celebrate the start of summer at our community gathering.

Please bring a 'pot luck' dish to share for afternoon tea and musical instruments!

Join trained herbalist Eliabeth Mueller to discover nature's first aid kit. Harvest plants that you can use to make your own home remedies and take home your own herbal insect repellent. Course notes provided.

Spend a day exploring in the woods away from the beaten track. We will play games, have fun, and learn lots about nature. Have a go at tracking, fire lighting, use your senses and taste some wild foods. Suitable for accompanied children aged 5 and over (younger siblings welcome).

Join us to harvest some tasty wild leaves, shoots and roots. We will try plants raw and have a go at cooking the over an open fire. Collect plants that you can use to add to your dinner table throughout the year. Course notes provided.

This will be a weekend of wildife and tracking adventures to remember! Learn native stalking and tracking skills to be able to get closer to the animals around us. Challenge your new found skills to photograph the wildlife and capture the best close up and win a prize!

Earth Skills for Youth Workers-
Sat 10th September

Join us for this popular course to find out how to share Earth Skills with the young people you work with. Experience and participate in a range of nature awareness and survival skills, and learn activities that will capture even the most active of groups.
