Comet C103/P Hartley

Very much less brighter than all the media hype gave it cause to be. Quite difficult to see in the eyepiece of reasonably sized telescopes and quite fast moving when nearest to us. Frames longer than 60sec showed trailing so 60 frames of 60sec were used to make this photograph up. Taken on 19.10.2010 with my usual SX M25C camera in the William 98FLT, sat on the AP900GTO mount.
Acquired and pre-processed in AstroArt as individual frames including calibrating with bias and flats, then manually stacked in AstroArt on the comet head. Final processing was done in Photoshop with help from GradX and Noel's Actions.
