M 27The well known Dumbbell or Apple core nebula in Vulpecula. Quite bright and easily seen visually, but without colour of course. This was one of a series of tests with the Vixen VMC260L on the AP 900GTO mount. It was taken with an M25C camera with an Antares .5 focal reducer in the train. Not a field flattener as can be seen in the stars near the edges of the frame.
Taken on 12.5.10 from the Austerfield Observatory. The
exposure was 9x120sec guided by a WO FLT98 and H9C camera. Acquisition and Processing
were done in AA4 and CS2.
