The Moon

Taken on 24.7.08, just past half phase and tilted to sit more comfortably on the screen.

Taken from Austerfield with an M25C and 80ED Skywatcher.
There is so much reflected light from it that filters were used not to cut out the other polluting lights, but just to cut the total amount of light hitting the camera's sensitive chip, without burning it out.
