Welcome to Doncaster Astronomical Society.
Providing astronomy for the casual observer, serious enthusiast and a means of accessing the night sky using research-grade equipment. Schools throughout Doncaster and the surrounding catchment area are especially welcome to use our facilities and experience, as a suppliment to the GCSE Astronomy syllabus.
View the night sky in mixed and pleasant company in a secure environment. Go to the Observatory item on the left for directions to the Domes in Austerfield.
But before you set out, take a look at the
Monthly Night Sky

see what's about,

We're
usually open
on clear Friday nights for members, but welcome the public too.

many other benefits including the
possibility of observing on other nights, weather
permitting! And being able to borrow telescopes.
