IC 5070 

Also known as the Pelican Nebula. Located a bit to the left of Deneb in Cygnus, this huge expanse of fluorescing Hydrogen covers twice the area of sky that the Moon does. It's namesake isn't apparent till rotated anti-clockwise, but it fits the computer screen better this way.

The picture was taken, on 27.8.08, at Austerfield with the M25C and 80ED through an Hydrogen Alpha filter. The exposure was 3x1200sec.
