Barrie and Hazel had originally hoped to be able to instal their brewery in the station buildings at Frodsham, hence their choice of name. A change in planning category has meant that the building may now become something like a restaurant. However where the building is situated at Ellesmere Port is actually close to the station too, and there's even a pub just down the road called the Station Hotel. The Brewery arranged a buffet for the Wakefield CAMRA group at the Helter Skelter pub in Frodsham
