Quite a special occasion for Clark's, this new beermat was brought out in Summer 2007.

Founded as a tower brewery 1906 largely with money from Kingswells the Wakefield drapery store,  H.B.Clark & Co Ltd (later H.B.Clark & Co (Successors) Ltd) brewed on and off for the free trade until 1960. In the 60s and 70s, it was just a drinks distributor, but a small new brewhouse was built in the yard, brewing cask ale only, in 1980-82.

Clarks now have 4 tied houses whose names usually play upon the Henry Boon Clark who was the original H.B. The brewery also has stakes in a number of other pubs and clubs. They also distribute to the free trade through depôts at Wakefield, Lofthouse, Huddersfield (formerly Pickards), Keighley, Sheffield, Hull, Worksop, Newcastle, Poulton-le-Fylde, Stockton and Stockport. In addition they have reciprocal supply arrangements with Archers, Banks & Taylor and Mauldons, as well as supplying guest beers to Fullers. As of February 2005 the beer exchange scheme is extended to include Highwood, Highgate, Titanic, Rebellion & Beartown.
