Pub, Club and Other non-CAMRA Beer Festivals
These festivals are run by enthusiastic licensees or charities such as local Round Tables, but are very often supported by the local branches of CAMRA. For details of official CAMRA festivals, click here.
We do not always get to hear about such festivals until they've almost happened. The list below consists of festivals in and around our local area, i.e those that would be feasible for a day out by train bus or pushbike. We shall be glad to add additional festivals or amend details click to advise us.

Friday 18-Sunday 20 April Second St. George's Beer Festival, George & Dragon, West Haddlesey, in conjunction with Brown Cow Brewery. Friday 5pm to close; Saturday 12 noon to close; Sunday 12 noon to 5pm. 20 different beers from micro breweries. Live music on Friday & Saturday night. Friday 25 - Sunday 27 April: The Old Bridge Hotel, Holmfirth - open normal pub hours the only drawback is it's £4 to get in ! although once the shock of this has subsided you get a (as advertised) free t-shirt for the price, and being a Black Sheep pub one would imagine that it will be emblazoned with a sheep. Anyway, back to the important bit, there are 30 beers on offer to tempt the tastbuds

Friday 25 - Sunday 27 April: North Riding Hotel Scarborough's Spring Beer Festival
Saturday 26 April Fourth Annual Beer Festival, Village Hall (Victory Hall), Carr, Thorner LS14 3EY. Doors open at 12 noon and your £5 entrance fee gets you in, plus a beer brochure, a commemorative pint glass and a drinks voucher. Various live entertainments on throughout the day. Regular bus service from Leeds Bus Station (770).
