CLWB MYNYDDA BETHESDA is a mountaineering club based at Bethesda in North Wales. It currently has between 30 and 35 members, the majority coming from the Bethesda-Bangor-Anglesey area. We also have members from as far afield as Liverpool and Yorkshire. The club covers all aspects of mountaineering and outdoor activities ranging from snow and ice climbing, scrambling, 8-9 hour walks, gentle low level walks, mountain running, camping plus the occasional Alpine or Scottish trip. We usually base our Saturday walks on the local range of mountains e.g Carneddau, Glyderau and the Snowdon range, but we also have the odd away trip further afield, going down towards the Arenigs, or maybe Cader Idris. A few pints are usually enjoyed after each walk, good practice towards our annual Christmas dinner!! We have a newsletter called Llais y Mynydd which comes out every quarter in which members themselves contribute to in the way of stories and articles.

The Club meets outside the Spar shop in Bethesda high street every Saturday morning at 9.00am. The day's route will then be decided depending on the weather.
