About Changeling Productions
Changeling Productions is based in the north of England, working principally in the rural areas of South-west Durham and Cumbria. We specialise in creating theatre in non-theatrical venues including housing estates, climbing walls, churches and castles.
We use a wide variety of artists from different backgrounds and disciplines to create our work, but Changeling's core staff are:
Duncan Brown is a composer, pianist and double-bass player who has worked with many of the major orchestras in the UK.
Ali McCaw has designed for many of the leading touring theatre companies and has a great deal of experience of working in schools and community settings. She is also a renowned mask maker, puppet maker and puppeteer.
David Napthine is a writer, director and actor. He has had a number of plays produced for BBC Radio as well as having written for touring companies in the North of England. He wrote the libretto for and produced the oratorio, the operetta, and the operas for young people.
