    The Transport Concert

    Both Teesdale and Bishop Auckland groups came together in April 2009 with choirs from the Choristers School SingUp choir, Durham and the Newcastle Cathedral SingUp Choir to give a joint concert on the theme of transport to a packed hall. The centrepiece of the concert was a performance by all the singers of Jan Holbrook's Running on Rails, a musical retelling of the story of the Carlisle to Settle railway line. Each of the choirs also sang their own songs.

    The Lost Legion

    In June 2008, all three groups took part in the Lost Legion of the Ninth, a theatrical song cycle about a Roman legion which disappeared on its way to Hadrian's Wall.


    In December 2008, Bishop Auckland and Teesdale groups gave a Winter Wonderland Concert in the Witham Hall, barnard Castle and the Bishop Auckland gave an additional concert with Bishop Auckland Choral Society.
