Songlines Coast-to-Coast

Songlines Coast-to-Coast is a collaboration with a SingUp community in Cumbria run by Soundwaves. It involves communities in a line from Grange-over Sands on the west coast to Easington on the east coast collecting and singing sings about their towns and singing them to the next community down the line. 17 concerts later, it all finishes in a big concert at the Hartlepool Dockfest on the 5th of July. The centrepiece of the Hartlepool concert is the performance of the Songlines ballad. Each community has contributed a verse about itself, and all these verses (and a chorus) will be sung at Hartlepool.

Songlines Coast-to-Coast is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Hartlepool Borough Council and SingUp.
