has posted this in the Laurel and Hardy
Forum:
Mike David, Drew Smith and myself Dean McKeown
are proud to announce a new site for Laurel and
Hardy fans around the world to enjoy.
We are delighted to launch www.nuttynutnewsnetwork.com
a site dedicated to promoting communication among
those who love Stan and Ollie and to continue the
tradition of preserving material related to
them.
As many of you know the Nutty Nut News Network
was created in the early 1980's by Guido Cipriani
of the From Soup to Nuts Tent. Guido's idea was to
use audiotapes to keep Tents worldwide in touch
with one another by sending messages and greetings.
In 2005 The Nutty Nut News Network Show was
resurrected when the 1986 Valley Forge Convention
audio was remastered by Mike David and posted on
the Laurel and Hardy Forum.
Since its emergence on the scene the forum has
grown into an untameable but wonderful and
indispensable monster that contains masses of
information on anything and everything to do with
Laurel and Hardy, I was lucky enough to be on the
staff team as a Global Moderator and together with
the admins and the dedicated members we proudly
watched and helped the forum expand beyond all our
dreams. Like the admins and other moderators this
forum kept me busier than a one legged Riverdancer,
in April of 2008 I parted ways with the it and
found myself with the time needed to help my fellow
Nutters launch a dedicated Nutty Nut News Network
website to help give the Networks material the
exposure it deserves as it was easily lost amongst
the forums ever expanding database.
And so we are proud to launch www.nuttynutnewsnetwork.com.
From the past we have rare audio interviews with
Laurel and Hardy related celebrities. For the
present we have a section for Sons and enthusiasts
to post written or audio reports on tent
activities, interviews, skits, memorabilia and
such. We have an exclusive audio presentation that
saw limited release in 1992 and has never been
available online until now. L&H author and
Grand Sheik Scott MacGillivray conducts an 11
minute indepth interview with Our Gang member Tommy
"Butch" Bond. This is an example of just one of the
many fascinating items to be found at the NNNN
website.

Bowler Dessert Online is truly
excited about this new site. It is a
logical development but it took the team
of Dean, Drew and Mike to bring it all
together. They have put in an enormous
amount of work and the job is only just
beginning! Let's give them all the support
they deserve and send them material
regularly.
Thanks, fellows. You ought to be very
proud of this new meeting place for Laurel
and Hardy folk, which adds mightily to an
already rich network!
