I didn't think that they could get any better, but
this edition has surpassed the others. Fantastic
effort!

Me being 6' 6" I was always a fan of the larger A4
format - I might even send you some material for
the next issue.

The A4 format has my vote. The result convinces me
this was a worthwhile move to bring a new look to
the 70th issue. The illustrations have reproduced
splendidly and the glossier paper is to my
taste.

It's fantastic!

I love this larger version. Great work.

What a whopper! You have exceeded yourself.
Congratulations and thanks for a super-sized
Bowler Dessert. Plenty of reading to send me
Early to Bed for a number of nights.

What a great issue. You keep outdoing yourself.
This issue is the size of a book!

Fantastic! You never fail to give us an excellent
publication! I just hope all Sons realise the work
and effort you put in. Congratulations also on
winning the award for Website of the Year rightly
so and fully deserved!

Thanks to all for putting together Bowler
Dessert 70. It looks so good and is a treat to
read. I know that there must be other readers who
do not get involved in conventions, local groups or
just get-togethers for various reasons such as age,
location, illness etc. Therefore Bowler
Dessert is such a wonderful publication and
gives us an insight into what is going on in the
world of Laurel and Hardy. It really is very much
appreciated. The new layout works really well.
Sometimes when an established format is "tweaked",
it doesn't always turn out as an improvement, but
thankfully the Bowler Dessert revamp should
be a winner.

Lois Laurel Hawes also said that she is impressed
by the new look of Bowler
Dessert.
