The play Stan Laurel: Please Stand Up! will be staged in Ulverston on Friday 4th July at 8pm. Tickets cost £10.00, with concessions at £5.00. Telephone the box office at 01229 587140. The play gets closer than ever before to discovering the real man." A Question and Answer session follows the play, which is being staged to coincide with the Ulverston Carnival Parade the following day, which usually attracts many Sons.
