StaRacers are a group of like-minded ferrets with two main

aims in life: To have fun and raise money for other ferrets

and pets less fortunate than themselves.

StaRescue is a small pet welfare centre. We take in and care for small pet animals of all kinds; parrots, rats, mice, ferrets, dogs, cats and rabbits to name but a few.

To fund the work we do, and to pay for food and veterinary costs, we ask for a donation on all adoptions. We also run a sponsoring scheme and are actively involved with fundraising events most weeks of the year.

To help us at peak times, we welcome help with fostering our little friends.

Why not come along, and visit our stall at various events in the Basingstoke and surrounding areas? We sell a range of bric-a-brac, run a tombola and have a lucky dip and STAR board for the children and at some of the events our Ferret Racing team are there to entertain the crowds. All proceeds go towards helping the animals in our care.

We are also able to advise on all aspects of looking after your pets so why not come along and have a chat.

Before leaving us, we ensure all animals are vaccinated and neutered, and we carry out home checks to ensure you and your new family member are a good match for one
