Pat Wallace is an experienced trainer and
consultant in relation to Domestic Violence. She has been
working as the Domestic Violence Co-ordinator for Buckinghamshire
for the last 2 years and prior to that she co-managed one
of the Home Office pilots in the Reducing Violence Against
Women Initiatives. Pat is a member of the Local Government
Authority group looking at Domestic Violence and is on the
steering group for HEVAN, which is a national group for health
practitioners working with Domestic Violence. She has established
an effective multi-agency training pool for Domestic Violence
in Buckinghamshire and has also introduced an accredited 3
day Training for Trainers in Domestic Violence course. Pat
has developed a comprehensive strategy and introduced new
initiatives and projects. She is a facilitator for the Freedom
programme and is also trained to facilitate the IDAP perpetrator
programme. Previously she worked as a Health Visitor for a
number of years and was also a community practice teacher.
Associate Trainers
Caroline Jones is an experienced trainer with
a background in Health Visiting & Nurse Education.
She has a long standing interest in Domestic Violence. Caroline
was the original Health Visitor attached to Aylesbury Womens
Aid when it opened in 1986 and has used the experience she
gained in her day to day professional career. Caroline is
a member of the above multi-agency training pool & has
been involved in training about Domestic Violence in a variety
of settings. She is the co-trainer on the accredited Training
for Trainers course. Caroline is also a facilitator for the
Freedom Programme.
Teresa Dell is an experienced trainer in Domestic
Violence. After leaving private sector work, she carried
out a research project on Domestic Violence in Buckinghamshire.
Teresa is now the manager of a Womens Refuge. She is
a facilitator for the IDAP perpetrator programme and is also
trained to facilitate the Freedom Programme. Teresa is a trustee
for Homestart Dacorum.
