Softsealer - a plastic bag sealer

This product is a fully automatic heat sealer for use by inexperienced operators.

Any plastic bag (or tubing) inserted into the slot will be detected, clamped and sealed automatically.

A single micro controller I.C. controls the whole process.

The product was conceived, designed and manufactured by MPS.

• The power and door lock switch functions are microprocessor controlled

• Low current switches with soft feel switching action have relatively high reliability

• Flexible (multiple) switching functions are available with simple momentary switches [Momentary, Latched, Timed operation]

• Reduced component cost (The micro circuit and simple low current switches cost less than switches in the original design)

• The micro has allowed the product to be automated. The latest design can be operated automatically, which means in Petrol Forecourt cash drawer applications background traffic noise is completely eliminated when the system is not being operated.

The product is micro based and acts as a remote continuity checker within a PC based product checking and test system. The unit has the following features:
