Welcome to my home page. It's primary purpose is to promulgate the results of research into my Family Tree, in
the hope of making contact with others researching connected lines.
Waterman
The first WATERMAN on my tree, Thomas, appeared in London in 1786 when he married Esther LINTER - 16th.
January at St. John of Hackney. Their descendants remained in-and-around the East End of London for 3 generations
until my father, Frederick Thomas, was born at Chatham - 16th. January 1904.

Fogden
My FOGDEN line started life as GARSIDE! Benjamin GARSIDE was born abt. 1746 and died in Bermondsey, 1808.
His children were all born in Bermondsey. One of his grandsons, John, moved to Hitchin, Hertfordshire where he
married Martha KIMPTON in 1825. Their son, John Kimpton GARSIDE, married Jane DYER in Greenwich, London,
1848. By 1855 he was living with Mary Ann FOGDEN, (the widow of George FOGDEN), in Chichester, Sussex. All of
John & Mary's children were "named" FOGDEN. The eldest, Edwin FOGDEN, being my maternal grandfather.
