Forres boasts many local groups and organisations.

Friends of The Falconer Museum
The Friends of The Falconer Museum support our local museum and run various events throughout the year.

 

The Moray Dolphin Hydrotherapy Pool
The website of the group responsible for building a hydrotherapy pool in Forres.
Forres Accordion and Fiddle Club

The Forres and Accordion and Fiddle Club was set up to promote an interest in accordion and fiddle music and to hold social evenings where music can be played an enjoyed.

 

Forres Osprey Trust
The Forres Osprey Trust is a non-profit making charity providing free transport to the elderly, infirm and handicapped residents of Forres and the local area.

Moray Aviation Trail

The Moray Aviation Trail shows how Aviation has played an important role in the life of the narrow coastal belt which fringes the north-facing shores of the Moray Firth.

 

Forres Footpaths Trust
The Forres Footpaths Trust is dedicated to establishing a network of walks in and around Forres.
Forres Lawn Tennis Club

The Forres Lawn Tennis Club has four all weather courts, two of which are floodlit allowing summer and winter play.

 

The Culbin Singers

The Culbin Singers are an amateur choral society, which performs regularly at concerts, usually twice every year, at Christmas and in the Spring.

 

The Forres Rotary Club
is the local branch of the internationally reknowned organisation.
The Forres Angling Association

The Association was formed in 1933. The FAA water consists of four miles of double bank fishing on the River Findhorn, some pools are fly only.

 

The Forres Harriers
The Forres Harriers are a small friendly running club with around 30 members of various ages and abilities.
Forres Big Choir
This is a mixed community choir singing who have around 40 members, beginners and experienced singers.
1st Forres Girls Brigade

The 1st Forres Girls Brigade meet every Monday in Forres Town Hall from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
