Bridgwater Flower Show celebrates its 117th Year!

Bridgwater Flower Show has been in existence in the town for over 100 years and despite a decrease in exhibits over the years has maintained a consistently high standard of flowers and vegetables. Every year, our judges, many of whom travel the county on a national judging status, tell us that the quality of our entries is one of the highest in Somerset, a reputation of which we are very proud.

Best in Show 2008 - Begonia, tuberous - J. Ivey

Our cup collection is surely one of the most outstanding in the town, with over 70 cups and shields, many bearing the names and dates of winners going back over 50 years. We have introduced rosettes as a means of attracting new, and young, exhibitors and we pay for the engraving of cups, rather than asking the winners to pay.

The 2009 Bridgwater Flower Show

will take place in the Town Hall on

28th and 29th AUGUST
