Magazine Distribution
Assistance is still needed with the distribution of our Bridgwater U3A Quarterly magazine.
Many members pick up their copy at the appropriate coffee morning. However if you do not normally come along to the coffee mornings perhaps you know someone who does who could pick up your magazine for you.
Also volunteers are needed to take on magazine delivery in their own locality, particularly member who live in outlying villages.
If you think you could help please speak to June (01278 685556) or Shelagh (683936)
Other New Groups
In addition to the Backgammon Group above, it was also announced at the coffee morning on 16th September that, provided there is sufficient support, two more new groups are being proposed.
These groups are:
BRIDGE FOR FOR BEGINNERS John 01278 683777
FRENCH LITERATURE Gabrielle 01278 426994
If you are interested in joining then please contact the relevant group leader so that they may judge the amount of support.
Backgammon Group Started
It’s good news. Enough members have shown an interest to allow a backgammon group to be started up.
