The beautiful Nicola Bryant (Peri, 1984-86)               Nicola Bryant (Peri)

It seemed in doubtful taste to post that pic of Katy Manning nude with Dalek, so here's a more tasteful one of the lovely Nicola Bryant instead...

The beautiful Nicola appeared alongside Peter Davison and Colin Baker, from 1984-86.

She also had the remarkable good fortune to appear with one Edmund Blackadder, in a certain Christmas Special, as his niece: that gentle child with a laugh like a machine-gun.

'God rest ye merry, Mr Blackadder...'

The Metric system - A hopeless muddle

Polititians keep banging on about 'choice',
but don't actually let us have one

They have real problems with the concept of democracy:
whatever arguments they put forward in favour of their
bizarre metric system, they will not allow us a choice

If the politicians want to go metric, let's have a referendum

Founded in June 1993 to perpetuate the memory of these great stars of stage, screen and radio; to research their long careers; collect memorabilia; and to meet and correspond with those who knew them, and to share those memories.

Meetings are held at least twice a month at the Club for Acts & Actors in Covent Garden, London. Members have an opportunity to present play readings, musical recordings, revues, talks (from 10 minutes to a full afternoon’s performance), and workshops.

Socials are held in members’ homes from time to time, when videos of the Hulberts are shown and complemented by vintage films of general interest. The society also arranges walks, visits to exhibitions, theatres, pubs and restaurants. A number of society newsletters are circulated throughout the year.

Further information is available from David Wicks (contact details as above).
