In the name of God Amen the two and twentieth day of March in 1688 in the first year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord and Lady William and Mary King and Queen of England France and Ireland , Defenders of the Faith, et in the year of our Lord God 1688.
I John Brill the elder of Stoke Mandeville in the county of Bucks yeoman being sick in body but of sound and perfect memory praised be God for it do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
First I bequeath my soul to the hands of Almighty God who gave it me in hopes of everlasting salvation by the mercies of God through the merits of Jesus Christ my alone Saviour and Redeemer my body I commit to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried in the churchyard of Stoke Mandeville according to the discretion of my executor. And as touching such worldly estate which God in his Goodness hath lent me I do dispose thereof as followeth.
Imprimis. I give and bequeath unto Francis Brill my eldest son five shillings to be paid to him by my executor within one year after my decease.
Item I give and bequeath unto John Brill my second son all that my messuage or tenement with the appurtenances wherein I now dwell situate and being in Stoke Mandeville aforesaid and all those my nyne acres and a half of arable land with the appurtenances being … of the ten acres of arable that I purchased of Alexander Jennings Gent to have and to hold the said messuage or tenement together with the before mentioned nyne acres and a half with all and every of their appurtenances unto my son John Brill and his heirs and assigns forever.
Item I give and bequeath unto George Brill my fourth son three acres of arable land with the appurtenances lying and being in the fields of Stoke Mandeville that is to say in the Kini? Field one land or half acre lying in Streete furlong the land of Francis Lodyingham north one land more in downeway furlong Mr Tempest north in Causeway field one acre lying together in little bottom furlong Richard Browne east in Hawkeslad field one acre lying together in Hawkeslad furlong Will Brill south to have and to hold the aforesaid three acres of arable land with all and every of their appurtenances unto my said son George Brill and his heirs and assigns forever.
Item I give and bequeath unto Joseph Brill my youngest son and his heirs and assigns forever three acres of arable land with the appurtenances lying and being in the fields of Stoke Mandeville aforesaid that is to say one acre lying together shooting into Hawkeslad Thomas Briggs north one acre in the ??? field in Redlands furlong lying together John Brown north one acre in causeway field one acre one half acre thereof shooting into Coddymead William Fford north one other half acre in Causeway furlong Joseph Smith north.
Item I give and bequeath unto Audery Dancer wife of Joseph Dancer of Asket my daughter the sum of ten pounds to be paid unto her by my executor within one year next after my decease.
Item I give and bequeath unto Susan Brill my youngest daughter the sum of ten pounds to be paid unto her by my executor within one year next after my decease.
All the rest of my lands tenements and heriditaments not hereinbefore given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my second son John Brill and his heirs and assigns forever.
All the rest of my goods and chattels and cattle debts and credit my debts and legacies being paid and funeral expenses discharged I do wholly give and bequeath unto my second son John Brill whom I do make sole and whole executor of this my last will and testament all former wills by me made either by word or wrighting I do hereby revoke and disanull and decleare this to be my last will and testament.

In the name of God Amen I William Brill of Stoke Mandeville being weak in body but of perfect memory praise be to God do make this my last will and testament and fully resigned my soul unto Almighty God that gave it and my body ...... and shall please God to take ye breath out of it to be decently buried by my loving wife who I appoint to be my executrix.
Imprimis. I give and bequeath to my son William Brill one acre of arable land lying in ?mead? field in a furlong called buff (or Cuff) furlong shooting on heaths ........ west and land of William Griffin lying south after the decease of my loving wife he paying to my well beloved daughter Mary three pounds out of the estate? within one year after my well beloved wife's decease.
Item I give to my son John Brill one acre of arable land lying in ye Causeway field in a furlong called the ??land furlong shooting on browns leys south and land of Thomas Jackson lying north after the decease of my loving wife and paying to my well beloved daughter Mary Brill out of the said acre ..... three pounds within one year after my well wife's decease.
Item I give to my well beloved son Joseph Brill one acre in the ..... field one land of it lying in Don? furlong the land of John Brown lying south and shooting on the ..... north and one land at .... lands shooting in the ..... after my well beloved wife's decease and paying to my well beloved daughter Mary Brill three pounds within one year after her decease.
Item I give to my loving wife all my goods and real and personal estate unbequeathed she paying my debts and funeral expenses.
In witness hereof this to be my last will and testament I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighth day of August in the year 1709.

In the name of God Amen I Joseph Brill of the parish of Halton in the county of Bucks husbandman being sick in body but of sound and perfect understanding and memory praised be God for the same do make and ordain this my last with and testament in manner and for following. Viz. In the first place and above all other things I commend my soul unto the hands of Almighty God hoping through the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to obtain remission of my sins and a Glorious Resurrection to Eternal Life. And my body I commit to the care of my executors hereinafter mentioned decently to be interred according to their discretion. And as for those worldly goods that it hath pleased Almighty God to endow me with I dispose of as followeth.
Imprimis. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Brill the feather bed, curtains, bedding, bedding and bedstead and all bolsters and pillows belonging to it now standing and being in the chamber called the loft chamber and a little table and two coffers or chests standing in the same.
Item I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Brill the long table and form standing in the kitchen and three joyned stools standing in the same and one great bottle and one little brass pot a ........ a middle sized tub and all my pewter and one pair of best sheets and the long tablecloth belonging to the table standing in the kitchen.
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Brill all other my household goods whatsoever not hereinbefore bequeathed or disposed of the great cupboard and the grooming? chairs and two chairs more.
Item I give and bequeath unto my said son and daughter Joseph Brill and Mary Brill aforesaid jointly all my cart horses cows and hogs and all my corn in the barns or standing or being about my grounds or homestall and also growing in the field together with all plough carts implements of husbandry and thereunto belonging together with all debts and ... demands owing unto me or in any w... belonging unto me and all my other personal estate whatsoever to be equally divided between them they paying out of the same all my honest and just debts and funeral expenses my meaning is that all this my personal estate should be sold or disposed of to raise so much money as will pay my honest and just debts and discharge my funeral expenses and the surplus or remainder thereof equally to be shared and divide between my said son and daughter Joseph Brill and Mary Brill whom I do make and ordain executors to this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day of November the 6th in the year of our Lord 1717.

In the name of God Amen this is the last will and testament of me John Brill of Stokemandevell in the county of Bucks husbandman in manner and form following. First I commit my soul unto Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executrix. And as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I dispose thereof in manner and form following.
Imprimis. I give and bequeath unto John Brill my son all that messuage or tenement with the appurtenances wherein I now dwell situate and being in Stokemandevell aforesaid to have and to hold the said messuage or tenement with the appurtenances unto my son John Brill and to his heirs and assigns forever.
Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Brill my doughter three acres of arable land with the appurtenanaces lying and being in the fields of Stokemandevell aforesaid (that is to say) in Causey field one acre that is to say two roods lying together in a place called Walton ...... the ...... of Thomas ........ north one land or half acre shooting upon a place called Jackmans Coddeymead the land of Thomas Jackson north the other land lying in Downway furlong the land of Joseph Smith north one acre in the west field one land in west head's furlong the land of Henry Whitchurch south the other land in Brook furlong the land of John Hoar north to have and to hold the said three acres of arable land with all and every their appurtenances unto my siad daughter Mary Brill and to her heirs and assigns for ever.
Item all the rest of my lands tenements and heriditaments not hereinbefore given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my said son John Brill to his heirs and assigns for ever.
Item all my goods cattle and chattells whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Jane my beloved wife charging her to pay my debts and funeral expenses and I do make the said Jane my beloved wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament all former wills by me made I do hearby revoke and disanull and declare this to be my last will and testament this 20th day of June in the sixth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith Anno Dom. 1720.

In the name of God Amen I George Brill of Weston Turville in the county of Bucks yeoman being of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be therefore given to Almighty God and calling Remembrance the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following and first being heartily sorry for my sins most humbly desiring forgiveness of the same bequeath my soul to Almighty God my Creator trusting to be saved through the merits of thy son our Saviour Jesus Christ and my body I appoint to be decently buried at the discreation of my executor hereinafter named and as touching the goods and worldly estate the which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give and dispose of the same as followeth.
Imprimis. I give and bequeath unto Mary my beloved wife the yearly rent or sum of six pounds during the term of her natural life to be paid out of my estate which I have within the parish of Weston Turville by my heir and executor hereinafter mentioned but if the said Mary my beloved wife shall be minded or determined to take the third part of my estate then my will and meaning is that Mary my beloved wife shall revoke and disanull the said yearly rent or sum of six pounds hereinbefore mentioned.
Item I give unto my son George Brill and to him and his heirs for ever all my estate lying and being in the parish of Weston Turville aforesaid and further my will and meaning is that if my son George Brill shall fortune to die leaving no child or children then I give and bequeath unto Mary my beloved wife all my estate aforsaid during the term of her natural life and then after her decease I give and bequeath all my estate aforementioned to all my own brother and sisters children which shall be then living at the time of the decease of Mary my said wife and my estate to be sold and the money to be equally divided between them.
Item I give and bequeath unto Mary my wife the moiety or one half of all my household goods and the other moiety or half of my household goods I give and bequeath unto my son George Brill.
Item I do make my son George Brill sole executor of this my last will and testament and do give him all my goods cattle chattells and personal estate whatsoever which I have not before in this will and testament given to Mary my said wife my funeral charges my debts and legacies being paid according to the true intent and meaning of this my will revoking and anulling by the presents all former wills by me heretofore made and declare this to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I the said George Brill unto this my last will and testament have put my hand and seal this 30th day of May in the tenth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith A. D. 1724.
