The
Gurdwara Management Committee consists of 8 members who have been
nominated by the Sikh Community to manage all operations of the
Gurdwara during a specific period, which is normally 12 months.
The
Management Committee in turn chooses an Executive Committee
from members of the community who are invited
to attend monthly committee meetings.
These 25 members bring along their comments and suggestions
to each meeting after receiving agenda items for their
consideration.
It
is this committee which makes the majority of rules and
regulations in relation to the day to day operation of the
Gurdwara. However, in
some circumstances, it is necessary to call a General Meeting to
obtain the opinions of all the Bristol Sikh Temple members before making a
major decision.
