Leaf shaped sword, length: 22" (50.6cm)This sword is based on a Middle Bronze Age Irish sword in the Pitt-Rivers collection. It is cast in stone moulds and is supplied unpolished and unsharpened. The rivet holes are drilled and the edge bevels are cut, as are the ricasso notches. No handle plates are supplied, but details of handle design, materials and fitting come with the sword. The 12.5% tin bronze combines a good cutting edge with considerable shock resistance. MBA Leaf shaped swords cost £56 each + P&P |
