Our Team

Our Core Team:

Tracy Hayden MCIPD     I     Barbara Hayes     I     Jane Juanette  MCIPD

We have a small core team and the majority of our work is conducted by the specialists profiled on this site. However, we have a network of skilled providers whom we can call on if a project matches their skill set and industry experience.

Our associates are carefully chosen for their professionalism and skill in every aspect of a contract. In most cases, they are individuals with whom we have worked for many years and we would never field an associate for a piece of work if we had not seen the quality of their work at first hand. We evaluate their performance thoroughly and as a result we maintain our very high standards.

We are passionate about high standards of professionalism and for every piece of work, we provide a written contract expressing exactly what is expected of our clients and us.

Naturally our primary concern is that the learning solution is delivered professionally and that the learning can be transferred to the workplace immediately. However, we also insist on other attributes.

Our learning materials are professionally produced and easy to use throughout - and critically, following - a learning event. We believe that our high quality workbooks and handout folders are vital tools to consolidate learning. Many of our clients have commented that our materials have really made the difference.

Our visual aids and course materials are vivid and memorable and we always ensure that they are designed with the learners’ needs in mind. Our extensive pre-event surveys have for example, provided us with the opportunity to produce large print workbooks and visual aids for individuals with sight impairment.

Our pre-event work also allows us to make provisions for learners with other needs. We have allocated prayer rooms on our open courses and ensure appropriate breaks for individuals who need time to themselves. Naturally, we do all we can to provide appropriate meal and refreshment choices and we always ask our learners to tell us in confidence if there is anything we can do to make the learning experience more comfortable and productive.

We are also fascinated about how people learn and recognise that some people need lots of activity, others like time to reflect, some like to see theories to back up an idea and some are keener to see how things can be practically applied back in the workplace. By asking our learners how well they have learned in the past and through which medium, we are able to cater for their very different needs. We believe however that for learning to be truly effective, we all need to know how it applies to us personally and as experienced managers ourselves, we offer people practical real-world solutions.

We are just as keen to find out how people have got on with their dilemmas and difficulties and we gain a lot of job satisfaction from hearing that a different approach, learned on one of our courses, worked this time! This is all part of our post-event work, when we not only evaluate the learning, but offer an advice service to our learners.

This all combines to ensure that our clients receive a first-class service and recognises that a training course or a coaching session is only a part of the product we are offering. One of the most insightful and most welcome pieces of feedback we have had from a client is that we “go the extra mile”.
