By Road

Walton-on-the-Naze is just about 1½ hours from London, via the M25 motorway and the A12 trunk road, and approximately 50 minutes from London Stansted Airport.

From the A12 eastbound/southbound...

Take the exit marked A120 Harwich, then take the exit marked A133 Clacton, then take the exit marked B1033 Frinton.  Then follow the signs for the B1034 to Walton-on-the-Naze.  Follow this road through to the village, at the T junction where the Church is in front of you, turn left.  Once on the sea front, follow the signs for the Swimming Pool, Columbine Centre and The Naze. Continue along this road until you see a black, thatched cottage on your right, then take the next turning on the right, Green Lane. At the end of the lane, turn left. Take the second turning on the left, Beatrice Road. Bufo Villae is the third house on the right.

By Rail

Walton-on-the-Naze is approximately 1½ hours form London, Liverpool Street. There is a  railway station at Walton-on-the-Naze, change trains at Thorpe-Le-Soken to get onto the branch line that serves Walton-on-the-Naze station.  Alternatively, disembark at Thorpe-Le-Soken and the use a taxi to get to Bufo Villae.
