107 (L&C) Field Squadron Royal Engineers (V) is based on Merseyside, it consists of a 2 Troops, a Plant Troop and a SHQ troop based in Harrowby Road, Birkenhead and a Troop based in Croppers Hill, St Helens. 107 is a Combat Engineer Field Squadron.

I joined 107 in November 1968 and remained in the Squadron throughout my TA career (33 Years) until I retired in April 2002. The Squadron trains in all Combat Engineer disciplines including Demolitions, Bridge Construction, Watermanship, Watersupply, Road Construction and Mine Warfare.
