Directions from the M5

 

Turn off at Junction 7 (Worcester South) and follow the signs for the city centre.  At the 7th set of traffic lights (including pedestrian lights) turn left up Edgar Street.  College Precincts is a pedestrian-only street up some steps on the right before the cathedral gateway.

Car Parking

There are several options for parking close to Burgage House.  First, there is a limited amount of on-road parking in Castle Place, which is free and unrestricted in time.  There is also a car park in King Street and an NCP multi-storey in College Street  (The entrance is off the traffic island in the map above).  As well as this there is pay and display car parking at the College Street end of College Precincts and in Severn Street, which is currently restricted to an hour and a half between 7am and 9pm (outside this time it is free and unlimited).

Directions from railway station

There are two Worcester railway stations: Foregate Street and Shrub Hill.  Most trains stop at both, and the nearest to Burgage House is Foregate Street Station.  From this station you should turn left into the High Street and walk down to the Cathedral, which takes about 10 minutes.  College Precincts runs along the east end of the Cathedral (ie. the left side as you approach it).  If you do have to arrive at Shrub Hill we suggest you take a taxi and ask to be dropped on College Street next to the Cathedral.  College Precincts is then on the left side of the Cathedral as you face it.
