PLANNED EVENTS

In Planning for Club Water based events it is essential that proper notice of the event is passed in writing to the Harbour Master, Captain C F Spencer, The Old Malt House, West Street, Banwell, North Somerset, BS29 6DB.email:  chris.spencer@cfspencer.com, tel: 01934823111. This will ensure good co-ordination of events and allow for wider dissemination. In addition this should allow events to go ahead smoothly and not involve any incidents, conflicts or past incident analysis.

The required timescale to be as follows:

  •  6 Months Notice of intention to run an event with date and times. (This to assist in overall planning, advertsing etc, even if it does not go ahead). (Details sent 18/11/08 by MAW)
  •  2 Months Notice with Risk Assessment completed.
  •  2 weeks Notice of FINAL ARRANGEMENTS AND AMENDED ASSESSMENTS 

This responsibility will normally be that of the Race Officer/Vice Commodore.
