SECURITY

The security of the clubhouse, and compound  remains the responsibility of all club members. Compound keys are granted to those members with a proven need to access the club.

The compound gates, must be kept locked at all times. The GARAGE and STOP GAP must be locked when not in use. The last person leaving the yard must ensure ALL doors/gates are secure.

Clubhouse keys are available to Committee Members Only.

For Bar Staff Bar keys are available from Geoffrey Tanner, Reg Ball, Andy Walker, David Humphrey, Ted Tratt, these must be returned to the key holders after use. Bar Staff should be appraised of the operating procedures for the Club Alarm before entering. Any problems immediately contact a Key holder.

Please ensure all valuable property is removed from club premises, or kept securely locked. Items such as dinghies, tenders, trailers, oars, and outboards must be clearly identifiable by boat name, owners name or membership number. Please lock oars away in the garage.

Please do not use property without the permission of the owner.

Any problems with security should be reported to the Security Officer, Barry Robertson in the first instance. Any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Sailing Club should be reported to the Police.
