Lune Valley Ocean Wavers was formed fifteen years ago. We now have approaching 100 members from Beginner through Mainstream to Plus grades. We are the only North West England entry-programme club within 70 miles. Our name, Lune Valley Ocean Wavers, is derived from one of the basic square dance moves.
Beginners and Mainstream Monday nights Halton Centre, Low Road, Halton near Lancaster. 7.30 to10:00 pm.	The club meets on two nights for teaching and dancing: Map to the Club Locations	Teach Plus and Plus Friday nights Victoria Institute, Caton, near Lancaster. 7:30 to10:00 pm.

We also organise some Saturday night dances which are attended by dancers from other clubs throughout the UK and further afield. We have frequent social events including hoe downs, barbecues, walks, bowls and visits to other clubs' dances. Click on the link to Diary Dates to see what we have been doing and what's coming up. Recruitment: The club welcomes new dancers for enrolment about every two years. We last recruited in September 2010. When recruiting, we hold free taster sessions to anyone who would like to give it a go. Of course, as square dancers, we offer an enjoyable evening, friendship, good music and exercise.
