Paralympic Games Qualification Process

It is important to note that the qualification process for Vancouver Paralympics Games will start in February 2007.

Qualification points for the Paralympic Games are gained by countries competing at the World Championships. Points are allocated to teams depending on their final standings at each Championship. Great Britain’s three Home Nation Associations nominate the strongest Home Nation country to gain the points at the World Championships. Scotland have been nominated for this Paralympic Cycle, and will have the opportunity to gain points at the 2007, 2008 & 2009 World Championships.
