WOODLAND WONDERS AT KEW  MAY 2009 - due to Kew's commitment to celebrations planned for their 250th year, Woodland Wonders will not be held.

WOODLAND WONDERS AT KEW  3rd  4th & 5th MAY 2008

Every year for the past ten years at the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew, the Woodland Wonders event is held in the conservation area. The event takes place on the first May Bank Holiday weekend and lasts three days. A group of craftsmen & entertainers from; foot powered lathe turners, coppice workers, blacksmiths, bowyers, yurt & ger makers, wood carvers & sculptors, felt makers, basket weavers, chair weavers, broom makers,  musicians & the tool society congregate, to exhibit their wares and demonstrate their skills to the public. Infants and young adults are well catered for with traditional puppet theatres, zip wire & educational play and creativity development.

I would thoroughly recommend that you put a note in your diary NOW for next year & forthcoming years. One not to be missed!!!

My association with demonstrating at Kew began in 2003.
