• 2010 Youth Olympics

The International Sailing Federation (ISAF) has announced the Byte CII dinghy has been chosen as equipment for two sailing events at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.

Section 9 "Tacking the windward traveller", describes the use of the two traveller cars and a bridle on which the Class is being asked to vote.

 The NOR for the 2009 Worlds

is now up on the championship website, www.bytechamps.org . There are charter boats available but many are already gone to Singapore, Bermuda, Cayman, USA and the UK (Jon Emmett is already registered) and, if anyone is contemplating going over, they should contact Peter Bjorn (See Charters on the bytechamps website) as soon as possible. Air travel cost are way down and the accommodation is extremely cheap at the university residences - £17.00 per day, single with wired internet. See bytechamps web site for
