Cornwall traveled to Riley's Snooker Club, Plymouth to play this season annual friendly against the Plymouth League.

Cornwall was looking to bounce back after their November defeat at the hands of Devon and managed to win by the convincing score of 25 - 8.

Cornwall's Youth team played an unusual match against a mix of senior players and the odd youth player as Plymouth's Youth team was playing on the same night in a Devon County Team final.

This had to be arranged quickly so as not to disappoint Cornwall's Youth team who expected a match. It proved to be a good test for them and they won their match 9-5

Cornwall's 3 most senior youngsters Dan Barsley (Polbathic) as Captain, Bobby Southworth (Bells Court) & Robert Charman (Redruth RBL) won 2-0, with Gary Spencer (St Blazey), Jake Stewart (Redruth RBL) & Ryan Bilson (St Blazey) a late replacement each drew 1-1, Cornwall's only loss was Simon Hosking (Penponds). 

Cornwall Billiards team although a different line up with Camelford's Geoff Lingard as Captain, Menheniot's trio of Dave Clue, Derek White & debutee Tony Wallace and St Cleer's Alan Snell won 5-0.

Cornwall Senior Snooker team also performed well recording a good 11-3 win.

Chris Timmins (Godolphin Club) Captain won 2-0 as did Kevin Steed (Dobwalls), Barrie McIntosh (St Blazey) and newcomer Darran Lock (Looe SC) making a senior team debut after many years in the Youth team. As did Barrie last year. Graham Denning (Clinton SC), Justin Watters (Breage) & Simon Dickenson (Bugle) making his Cornwall debut drew 1-1.
