The English Amateur Billiards Association is the governing body of amateur (English) billiards in England, and as such is responsible for organizing various tournaments and events including:

· The English Amateur Championship.
· Six one day ranking tournaments throughout the course of the season, which combined with English Amateur results leads to International status if attaining a top 8 finish.
· The Whitworth Masters.
· The County Cup.
· A one-day Handicap Tournament.
· The Grand Masters.

Juniors are well provided for, with six of their own Ranking Tournaments, along with Under-16 & Under-19 National Championships.

Competitors wishing to enter any of these EABA events, must be members of the Association in order to compete.

The Management Committee of the EABA has recently introduced its own nation-wide Coaching Scheme.
