| The three locomotives shown below were all built
by the late Kelvin Moonie, while he was a member of the club, they are now on long term loan from his family. |
| Kelvin also drew the original plans, which he
amended as each engine was being built. Resulting in a very accurate set of drawings. |
| Each engine is looked after by an individual member and ARE NOT kept at the track. |

| "Combpyne 520", a 5 inch gauge 4-4-2 Steam
Powered Locomotive. Based on the Adams 415 Class Radial Tank Engine. Model completed in 1980. Took 2nd place in the 1980 I.M.L.E.C. (International Model Locomotive Efficiency Competition). Awarded a Silver Medal in the 1981 Model Engineering Exhibition. |
