Red-throated Diver – Aldenham Res on 9^th. Horton GP on 27^th. Staines Res and King George VI Res on 8th. Queen Mother Res on 21^st and 22^nd. Wraysbury GP from 15^th until 20^th, and from 22^nd until 26^th.

Black-throated Diver – Staines Moor, one reported over on 25^th. Staines Res, from 1^st until 20^th.

Red-necked Grebe – Queen Elizabeth II Res on 15^th,16^th, 21^st and 22^nd.

Slavonian Grebe – King George V Res on 28^th. King George VI Res, four on 17^th. Royal Victoria Dock from 1^st until 4^th. Staines Res single on 18^th, three on 19^th and single on 28^th. Stanstead Abbots GP from 1^st until 5^th.

Black-necked Grebe - Staines Res single from 13^th until 28^th, with three on 24^th.

Bittern – Barnes WWT on 23^rd. Bedfont CP, two on 9^th. Bowyers GP on 3^rd. Holyfield Lake on 15^th. Lee Valley Bittern watch point, one or two all month, with max of three on 5^th, 11th and 15th. Rye Meads on 26^th. Sevenoaks NR, two on 2^nd, 5^th, and 8^th.

Little Egret - Amwell GP one or two all month on and off. Broadwater GP roosted all month, with max 15 on 1st. Holyfield on 23^rd. Lemsford Springs on 2^nd,7^th and 16^th. Queen Elizabeth II Res from 5^th until 7^th, and on10^th. Rainham Marsh, five on 9^th and 25^th. Sevenoaks NR on 8th. Staines Moor, single all month.

Brent Goose – Wm Girling Res, six on 19^th.

Pink-footed Goose – Wimbledon Park, two on 26^th  

White-fronted Goose – Bankside (Tate) on 10^th. Barnes WWT on 13^th. Beddington SF, five on 11^th. Holyfield Fields, 18 on 16^th, 20 on 17^th and 18^th, 19 from 19^th until 21^st, 16 from 22^nd until 28^th. Rainham Marsh, ten from 23rd until 27^th. Staines Moor, three from 14^th until 28^th. Wm Girling Res, two on 14^th and single on 15^th.

Green-winged Teal – Walthamstow Res, from 16^th until 24^th.

Pintail – seen at Amwell GP, Holyfield Lake, Queen Elizabeth II Res, and Rainham Marsh (max 81 on 16^th).

Red-crested Pochard – Stocker’s Lake from 14^th until 16^th, and on 23^rd.

Ring-necked Duck – Ewell all month.

Lesser Scaup – Brent Res from 14^th until 23^rd.

Scaup – Brent Res on 2^nd, and from 16^th until 19^th. Broadwater GP, three on 1st. St James’ Park on 19^th. Queen Elizabeth II Res on 21^st. Staines Res on 19^th. Walthamstow Res on 22^nd. Wraysbury GP on 7^th and 11^th.

Common Scoter – Staines Res on 12^th.

Red-breasted Merganser – Wm Girling Res on 1^st.

Smew – seen at Amwell GP, Barnes WWT, Beddington SF, Bedfont Lakes, Belhus Wood CP, Bowyers GP, Broadwater GP, Cheshunt GP, Holyfield Lake (max 18 on 23^rd), Hooks Marsh GP, Korda Lake, Nazing GP, Sevenoaks NR, South Ockenden, Stanstead Abbots GP, Stocker’s Lake, Wraysbury GP (max eleven on 11^th), and Wraysbury Res.

Red Kite - North Mymms Park on 1^st.

Marsh Harrier – Broadwater GP on 22^nd.

Hen Harrier – Hornchurch on 24^th.

Buzzard – Beddington SF on 23^rd. Copped Hall on 5^th and 14^th. Coursers Lane Fields, two on 16^th. Hall Marsh on 22^nd. King George V Res on 25^th and 26^th. Mymms Park, two on 16^th. Prae Wood, two on 16^th. Stocker’s Lake on 15^th. Trent CP on 25^th. Turnford Brook CP on 8^th. Whitewebbs Wood on 21^st.

Osprey – Hatfield one reported on 14^th, had been first reported on the 19^th Jan.

Merlin - Holyfield Fields on 22^nd.

Peregrine –  Bankside (Tate Modern), and various Inner London locations, one or two all month. Beddington SF on 11^th, 13^th,15^th, 22^nd and 23^rd. Croydon on 14^th and 20^th. Rainham Marsh on 9^th. Staines Moor on 25^th and 26^th. Woolwich on 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th.

Oystercatcher – Staines Res on 28^th.  

Avocet – West Thurrock, 15 on 16th..

Grey Plover – Grays, six on 1^st and three on 22^nd. Northfleet, two on 4^th. Rainham Marsh, five on 16^th. Tilbury Dock on 19^th.

Knot – Tilbury Dock, two on 19^th.

Jack Snipe – Beddington SF single on 16^thand two on 23^rd. Hall Marsh on 22^nd. Hatfield Aerodrome on 17^th. Purfleet, two on 2^nd. West Thurrock, three on 1st.

Black-tailed Godwit - Grays, 39 on 1^st and two on 22^nd. Northfleet, 45 on 4^th and six on 19^th. Rainham Marsh, two on 9^th, 16^th and 25^th. West Thurrock, 52 on 1^st.

Bar-tailed Godwit – Beddington SF on 12^th. Rainham Marsh, two on 9^thand one on 24th.

Greenshank - Tyttenhanger GP on 4^th, 7^th, 8^th, 15^th, and 16^th.

Turnstone - Grays, two on 1^st and 22^nd. Tilbury Dock, on 19^th.

Mediterranean Gull – Amwell GP on 7^th. Beddington SF, two on 11^th, single from 12^th until 14^th, three on 15^th, four on 21^st and two on 22^nd. Island Barn Res on 12^th. Kempton Park NR on 28^th. Queen Mary Res on 1^st. Valentine’s Park on 5^th. Walthamstow Res, two on 16^th.

Little Gull –  Belvedre on 20^th. Greenhithe, two on 14^th.

Iceland Gull - Queen Mother Res on 1^st. Wm Girling Res on 10^th.  

Glaucous Gull - Island Barn Res on 12^th. Queen Mother Res on 20^th.  

Kittiwake – Northfleet, four on 4^th and single on 19^th.

Barn Owl – Colney Heath on 2^nd (dead). Hatfield Aerodrome on 1^st, 17^th and 21^st.

Long-eared Owl – Hatfield Aerodrome, on 16^th and 21^st.

Short-eared Owl – Hatfield Aerodrome, all month, max 3.

Water Pipit – Beddington SF, four on 11^th and single on 28^th. Rainham Marsh, five on 12th. Staines Moor all month, max 20 on 25^th. Stanwell Moor, two on 24^th.

Black Redstart – Purfleet on 1^st. Tilbury Dock on 19^th. Walton Res on 2^nd.

Cetti's Warbler – Amwell GP on 1^st. Berwick’s Pond on 26^th. Greenwich Ecology Park on 19^th.

Dartford Warbler – Rainham Marsh on 25^th. Yeading Meadows on 15^th.

Firecrest – Bedford Park on 7^th and 25^th.  Brent Res from 2^nd until 17^th. Hatfield Forest on 26^th. Regents Parks on 2^nd. Trent CP, one or two all month, with max three on 17^th. Warley on 7^th. Weald Park, two on 8^th and 13^th, and single on 20^th, with three on 26th. Whitewebbs Wood on 14^th.

Waxwing – Bexley, 17 on 16^th. Cheshunt on 4^th. Dartford, 15 on 26^th. Enfield Lock, two on 8^th. Hatfield, 25 on 18^th. Joydens Wood, 18 on 17^th and 16 on 18^th.
