Please note there is no public access to Rainham Marsh until around September 2004 (see Rainham Marsh RSPB). In addition, for access to the following Reservoirs a Thames Water birdwatching permit is required: King George V (Lea Valley), Queen Mother (Berks), Queen Mary & Walton (Surrey) and Walthamstow (Lea Valley). There is no general public access to Island Barn, King George VI Res Queen Elizabeth II & Wraysbury Reservoirs (West London) or Wm Girling (Lea Valley).
