Habitat: old sewage farm, landscaped with rough areas and open water.

 

 

 

Species: All year: Tawny Owl. Summer: Sedge and Reed Warblers, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Blackcap and Willow Warbler. Passage: the occasional raptor, such as Osprey and Hobby; the odd wader such as Greenshank and, Common and Green Sandpipers; passerines including Larks, Pipits, Wagtails, Wheatear, Whinchat, and the occasional Redstart, Ring Ouzel or Firecrest. Winter: Water Rail; occasional Jack Snipe; Stonechat and Redpoll. Rarities: have included Marsh Warbler, Great Grey Shrike.
