Summer: Woodcock, Tree Pipit, Nightingale, Redstart, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Chiff-chaff, Willow Warbler, and the occasional Wood Warbler. Passage: the occasional raptor, such as Marsh Harrier, Osprey, Hobby, passerines including Wheater, Whinchat, and the occasional Pied Flyctahcer and Fireccrest. Winter: Thrushes and Finches. Rarities: have included Olive-backed Pipit, Naumann's Thrush and Short-toed Treecreeper. |
| Fishers Green (TL376044) | Habitat: Mature deep water gravel pit, with reeds bed, a water filled flash, scrub and trees | Species: Summer: Egyptian Goose, plus most common waterbirds can be found; Common Tern; Grasshopper, Sedge and Reed Warblers, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Chiff-chaff and Willow Warbler, and Nightingales. Passage: occasional Red-necked or Slavonian Grebes; ducks such as Garganey, Scaup; the occasional raptor, such as Marsh Harrier, Osprey, Hobby; with the occasional Short-eared Owl; plus passerines, including Wheater, Whinchat, the occasional Redstart, Pied Flycatcher and Firecrest. Winter: occasional records of Red-necked or Slavonian Grebes; Bittern; sawbills such Goosander and Smew often reaching double figures, plus the odd Red-breasted Merganser, along with Scaup; Stonechat, Fieildfare and Redwing. |

Winter: Divers sometimes turn up on the river, the occasional Brent Goose flying through, rarely other Geese, Pintail, sea duck occasionally on the river, waders including, Grey Plover, occasional Sanderling, Knot or Godwit; and Rock Pipits. |

Species: All year: Common waterbirds. Summer: the site can be quite, though anything could just turn up. Black Redstart are present in the area. Passage: Red-necked, Slavonian or Black-necked Grebes; Leaches Petrel (autumn - rare); Common Scoter, Scaup, and Red-breasted Merganser; the occasional Marsh Harrier, Osprey, Hobby; most common wader species pass through, plus occasional Oystercatcher, Grey Plover, Knot, Sanderling, Little Stint, Godwits, Whimbrel and Turnstone; the occasional Pomarine or Arctic Skua; Kittiwake, Little Gulls, Sandwich, Arctic, Little, or Black Terns; occasional Little Auk (autumn - rare); plus passerines on the embankment, such as Larks, Pipits (including Rock), Wheatear, Whinchat and Black Redstart. Winter: (especially after easterlies or harsh conditions): Divers; Red-necked, Slavonian and Black-necked Grebes (often overwinter); Bewick Swans; Brent Geese; Scaup, Common Scoter, Goosander and Red-breasted Merganser: occasional Water Pipit. Wm Girling Res has a large Gull roost that can contain Mediterranean, Glaucous or Iceland Gulls, which can be seen at the adjacent King George V Res. Rarities: have included Sabine's Gull, White-winged Black Tern and Citrine Wagtail. |
