Species: All year:  Shelduck, Peregrine (nearby Millennium Dome) and Black Redstart. Summer: Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Common Whitethroat and Blackcap. Passage: Wigeon, Pintail, Hobby, Little Ringed Plover, Black-tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit, Whimbrel, Curlew, Greenshank, Little Gull, Yellow-legged Gull, Sandwich Tern, Arctic Tern, Little Tern, Black Tern, Yellow Wagtail, Common Redstart, Whinchat, Stonechat, Wheatear, Fieldfare, Redwing, Lesser Whitethroat, Spotted Flycatcher, Siskin and Lesser Redpoll  Winter: Teal, Lapwing, Dunlin, Common Snipe, Redshank, Meadow Pipit, Rock Pipit and Chiffchaff. Rarities: have included Sabine's Gull, Ring-billed Gull, White-winged Black Tern and Serin.

Habitat: tidal mud, with some areas of scrub and open water

 

 

Species:  All year: Shelduck; Sky Lark. Summer: the odd breeding common wader may be found such as Oystercatcher or Redshank; plus common Warblers such as Whitethroat, Blackcap, Chiff-chaff and Willow Warbler. Passage: is mainly centered around the Thames with occasional Grebe; sea duck; raptor; occasional wader such as Greenshank, Common or Green Sandpiper, other waders (rare); or skua; with Terns, including Arctic, Sandwich, or Black Terns, the odd unusual wader can turn up, plus occasional passerines, including Pipits, Yellow Wagtail, Wheater and Whinchat. Winter: Teal and the occasional Pintail (rare), with occasional records of sea ducks dependant on winter conditions; common waders are present, such as Ringed Plover and Dunlin; with the chance of Rock Pipit and Stonechat. Rarities: have included Timminck's Stint and Franklin's Gull.
