For Birding Sites in the Greater London use the map below, clink on the Borough name for the link to the list of sites within that area, but for sites outside the Greater London area, they are listed under the following Counties - Berkshire, Buckinghamshire,  Essex,  Hertfordshire,  Kent, or  Surrey

The more interesting sites in each Borough or County are given, together with other sites that would be suitable for a birding visit. It should not be forgotten that whilst there are the 'known main sites' in London that regularly turn up interesting and unusual birds, anything can be found anywhere, including the at most uninspiring locations.
