Full size goal or mini-soccer goals for Under 11's and below
Drill
Servers 2 and 4 take up position on the edge of the 6 yard box on the bye line
Attacker on the edge of the 18 yard box
10 shots each and then swap Servers around.
Key Factors
- Quality of serves from 2 and 4
- Quality of shots from the attackers
- hit the corners
- make the goalkeeper work
- Positioning and movement of the goalkeeper
- in line with the ball
- good coverage
- React - DO NOT ANTICIPATE!!
- Decision
- Catch - Receiving techniques - cup it - "W" shape
- Punch - high - wide - away from danger
- Parry - away from danger area
- Recovery Positions
- Ready for secondary chances
