CHOC’S PREDICTIONS 8th and 9th March

Last week my predictions were 8 right and 5 wrong with 5 not playing,

Well here goes for this week,

The first team are at home against Welbeck the leagues top scorers but also with one of the worst defending records and after last weeks hard fought win which saw them go top of the league and a win this week will see them go 5 points clear, so a win for me and 3 precious points.

Reserves are without another game this week but still holding 3 rd place.

The 3rds entertain 5th place Radcliffe and should see them bring home another 3pts to keep them in 4 th spot.

Our u18s were also without a game last week but this week they are away and hopefully Paddy can put out a decent side, if he does a point could be on there way.

The u17s lost last week against league leaders 4-1 and need to bounce back and I am sure the lads will bring home 3pts to keep there hopes alive.

Massive win last week for the u16s winning 3-0 away from home against East Leake the only team that can stop them bringing home the title and they play them in 2 weeks time at home but this week they have another tough one but the way they are playing 3pts will come there way and a guarenteed runners up spot.

At last the u15s got themselves a 2-1 win and this week I am sure they can get another 3pts now they are back to full strength.

U14s with another win last Sunday travel to Parkdale who are joint top along with us, so a promising game and hopefully a win for, 3pts for us.

The u13s without a game last week play at home against basement club Pelican colts and I am sure Dave will want to treat this game seriously with next Thursday cup final looming and will want a good performance from the lads, 3pts for the boys. So next Thursday 13 th March 7pm ko at Blidworth MW ground, lets have some teams from within the colts shouting for the u13s.

Big surprise Last Sunday when our u12s lost at home to Basford Utd 2-0, I hope the lads are not getting the jitters as this Sunday they play at Kimberley and should record a win, I will get them back on track and predict a defeat.

The u11s another team who like others have the Semi’s on there minds as they were beaten on Sunday, but this week they play Hucknall who are placed just below them and this week a win is on the cards.

The Vets are without a game this week but played out a 2-2 draw last Sunday, put the legs up and get ready for the 16 th.

The u15 girls bowed out of the Semi-final last Sunday in front of a 200+ crowd and put up a great performance going down 2-1, this week is league action against St George at home and they currently lay 2 nd in the league, but a defeat this week for our girls.

MINI-SOCCER

U11 girls play at Ilkeston Town Angels this Sunday and a win could take them 2 nd and I can see no reason why 3pts should not be ours, so come on girls.

Leslie and the u10 boys played in 7 goal thriller at one point they were trailing 3-0 but managed to get it back to 4-3 but on the losing side, this week I am sure they will bounce back and bring home 3pts.

Well the u9s are on a amazing run at the moment and recorded a 5-1 win on Sunday, but this week they are in a semi-final cup match against a Div 1 side Keyworth Utd Green, we all know it is only one division up but it is a hard one to call but if they go out they have done tremendous to even get there, so come on Mick and Carl get the lads up for it and get us a win.

The u8s finished there league campaign with a win that was two on the trot a big well done to the boys, but is cup action this Sunday and I will stick my neck out and go for another win.

These are my predictions and I hope your team proves me wrong but if they don’t I will be e-mailing you.
