Queensferry History Group has a number of activities and projects: exhibition displays; local history talks; supporting Queensferry Museum; visits to sites of local interest; transferring Valuation Rolls, School Rolls and Census Records onto electronic files; responding to queries; and the Queensferry Past and Present project.
We are a registered charity and have been fortunate enough to receive an award from the Lottery Fund Awards for All Scheme. The award has been put to excellent use in enabling the group to purchase a computerised photo record and retrieval system. This enables us to store properly our large and growing photo library, but moreover, benefits the community as a permanent archive of Queensferry's past that can be made accessible to all.
