Here is a step by step guide of how to go about it.
Amended on 21st January 2008 to account for an increase in image size

Type your message in the usual way.
Scroll down just below the message box and click 'Manage Attachments.
This opens up a small window
Click on 'Browse' and your own document folders will open.
Locate your image, highlight it and 'Open'
Your browser will close and ou will be back to the previous small window.
Click on 'Upload' and wait until your image file extensions shows.
When that happens click 'Close Window', found at the bottom.
Now just click 'Submit Reply' as per a normal posting.
Your image will appear embedded in the page subject to:
a max width of 750 pixels and a max file size of 1MB
Whichever image editor you are using you should have a means of resizing your
image to get it down to the allowed file.
The command could be 'save for web' or something similar.
Do the physical resize first...i.e. down to 750 pixels in width,
it doesn't matter about the height.
